Service Description
A stress echocardiogram is an ultrasound test that evaluates how the heart functions under stress, usually caused by exercise on a treadmill or stationary bike. Images are taken before and immediately after exercise to compare how well the heart muscle pumps when working harder. This test helps detect reduced blood flow, coronary artery disease, and other heart function problems that may not be visible at rest.
